The Benefits of An Action Plan For Bad Days

Everyone with a diagnosed respiratory condition needs an Action Plan. The medical community has created a quick daily regimen for patients to easily assess their state. This can identify troubling symptoms at an early stage before they grow into an emergency.

With your doctor, define the conditions under which your respiratory health is in the:

  • Green Zone: "I am doing well today!"
  • Yellow Zone: "I am having a bad day or a flare up."
  • Red Zone: "I need medical help now!"

Your coach may be recommended to help you confirm your understanding and flesh out the details of how you will create daily habits around following the plan.

The first step to solving a problem is recognizing it. Sometimes we are so busy or distracted we don't recognize we are more breathless than usual and this has been going on for a few days!
